Flowpacks
An instrument that fits in one file.
A Flowpack holds a layout, its MIDI mappings, a theme and the sounds. Load it and the phone becomes that instrument.
01Format
One file, checked on the way in.
A pack is a bundle, not an account entry. Every file inside it carries a hash, and the app verifies them at install. A pack that was altered on its way to you does not load.
The same file installs in the browser and in the native app. Move it with a cable, a drive, or a message — it works the same either way.
Inside a pack
- Layout
- pads · faders · XY · keys
- Mapping
- notes, CC, channels
- Theme
- colours, labels, surface
- Sounds
- samples, optional
- Integrity
- hashed per file
- Portability
- load from local storage
02Three ways to get one
- 01
Build one
The builder is in the app and in Flow Studio. Drag controls, set the mappings, export the file.
- 02
Load one
Open a pack from a file, a share sheet, or a drive. No account, no network, no store in the middle.
- 03
Buy one
The marketplace sells packs made by artists. It is not open yet — this is the part we are building.
03Marketplace
Buy it once. Keep the file.
Packs are sold on the web, never inside the app. A purchase comes with a download, so the instrument you paid for sits on your own disk and plays with the network off.
Nothing is on sale yet. Leave an address and you will hear once, when the first packs are up.
